Creative Director / Art Producer

Users of our platform have transacted $10M+ in NFT volume in the last year.  We are working on delivering innovative gaming experiences to market in order to bring Web3 games to the mainstream.  We believe in working on the cutting edge of what is possible in gaming and crypto and building a team to suit our vision. We are looking for a mid to senior level Creative Director / Art Producer to help us make awesome content for our games.

About You

• Experience in game development is ideal
• Portfolio demonstrating strong proficiency as an Expert level Concept Artist
• Proven ability to adapt to different visual directions to align with existing IP and style guides
• Expert in character, items and environment design
• Strong understanding of anatomy, shape, form , lighting, material, color, composition and silhouette
• Expert knowledge and understanding of Photoshop and any equivalent software and tools including Unity, Unreal Engine and other gaming toolkits.
• Experienced in using concept skills to guide art production and maintain quality and style consistency by providing paintovers and feedback

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm narrative and world building with design and content team
• Collaborate closely with designers, 3D artists, and animators to develop concepts that fit within the vision and goals for characters, items or structures
• Help define the visual language of each project, from design aesthetic to animation
• Create high definition, game-ready 3D models of outfits, hairs, gloves, glasses, faces, vehicles, and props
• Collaborate with leads, team members and across disciplines to ensure assets are high-quality, support the artistic direction of our projects, and are fully optimized for target platform and experience.
• Receive feedback and modify work based on direction.
• Experience with and examples of creating stylized art assets.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-direction, passion, and creativity in your work.
• A receptiveness to feedback and the ability to act successfully on direct critique

Big Plusses

• Experience with character customization pipelines.
• Prop, vehicle modeling, and/or environment creation.
• A strong sense of stylization.
• Any relevant experiences in the Web3 world.
