Responsibilities
- Advising on a variety of regulatory issues in Taiwan and other regions in APAC, including licensing and structuring issues, drafting Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy, etc.Â
- Assisting communications with financial regulators and/or other government agencies
- Drafting and reviewing strategic plans and submissions to regulatory authorities, responding to regulatory enquiries, and help shaping the long-term regulatory strategy
- Advising on regulatory issues in relation to various global products
Requirements
- Admitted to practice in Taiwan and/or post qualification in a Taiwanese law firm or Financial Services companyÂ
- At least 4 years post qualification experience gained in top tier law firms and/or financial institutionsÂ
- Experience providing regulatory advice to financial institutions and other businesses including banks, investment managers and/or payments platforms based in TaiwanÂ
- Experience liaising with financial regulators and/or other government agencies will be a plus
- The role will entail primarily non-contentious work but candidates with contentious and disputes background are welcome to apply
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese
