Responsibilities
- Active contribution to our team’s deal flow efforts by executing origination.
- Build and maintain relationships with other venture capital firms.
- Work closely with our portfolio success team to align portfolio companies.
- Analyze and assess the quality of startups.
- Coming prepared to investment committee meetings and being an active contributor to discourse.
- Create written content, including investment thesis blog posts and thought leadership pieces.
Requirements & skills
- Strong competency in crypto and blockchain technology, ideally with a strong emphasis on DeFi, infrastructure, and gaming.
- Experience in crypto, finance, economics, and/or operations. Major bonus to have previous experience at a crypto VC or major crypto company.
- A strong and growing network of entrepreneurs, VCs, and other investment firms.
- Experience reading whitepapers, documentation and pitch decks.
- Strong knowledge of Ethereum, Cosmos, Polkadot, Solana, and Avalanche are preferred.
- Ability to navigate crypto community tools such as discord, telegram, and twitter (large twitter following is a big plus).
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience trading DeFi summer and the metagame are a plus.
