The Team

We are a result-oriented team of 40 top-class players with experience in both traditional Software companies (like Google) and Blockchain projects (like IOSG, Open Zeppelin, UMA) with many engineers with phds. We are a high performing team with a flat organizational structure that upholds key values: accountability, transparency, high ownership, pragmatic & obsessed with users, a passion for learning, collaboration and passion.

Our Business Development Team is still nimble - we intend to keep it that way. Because of that, everybody gets a lot of responsibility and strong influence on our overall BD strategy.

Your direct manager for that role will be Matt (Head of BD).

Skills You'll Need

Most importantly: Strong Sales Abilities, strong Operational abilities - Integration Management, strong DeFi context.

  • Prior Experience: At least 4 years of experience in Account Management/Sales/Business Development role at growth (or later) stage tech companies within the web3 space, building major strategic partnerships and closing key accounts.

Applications lacking hands-on Web3 professional experience will not be considered.

  • DeFi Expertise: Deep understanding of DeFi primitives (lending markets, leverage & yield protocols, stablecoins - examples listed here) and staying up to date with industry developments.

Apart from that, we expect you to be excellent in CRM management as well as communication with stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Managing the Sales Funnel of one of our Business Lines across the board:
  • Discovery Calls
  • Pushing the Relationships forward
  • Closing the Deals
  • Preparing the Prospects for tech integration
  • Leading the Prospects through the integration process
  • Expanding the partnership post-integration
  • Identifying expansion opportunities with current partners to drive metrics and advance strategic GTM goals
  • CRM Cadence - Maintaining rigorous CRM discipline (Hubspot) with clean lead pipelines and comprehensive partner context that's accessible to BD, Marketing, and Tech teams
  • Setting and tracking targets, driving revenue outcomes and meeting/exceeding KPIs
  • Collecting new Prospects' Requests for potential Features for the tech team
  • Attending Conferences to strengthen our visibility, existing partnerships and business relations as well as open new conversations
  • Actively improving our Sales Process by working on Sales Materials, Playbooks, Sales Activity Analytics
