In a previous life I've been a Control Systems Engineer for 5 years, successfully commissioning, maintaing and upgrading Process Control and Safety Systems on Offshore Oil Platforms in the UK Continental Reef, travelling to and from work in helicopters in 0 visibility fog and landing blindly as well as commissioning projects in Saudi for Petroleum by-products.
