Junior Risk Data Analyst

We are seeking a Junior Risk Data Analyst to join our company. The Junior Risk Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our fraud and risk management efforts by analyzing data, identifying patterns, and assisting in the development of risk mitigation strategies. Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data to identify potential fraudulent activities, suspicious patterns, and emerging risks.
• Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies and risk mitigation measures.
• Monitor and investigate suspicious user activities, transactions, and account behaviors to detect and prevent fraud attempts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Legal, and Operations, to ensure effective risk mitigation measures are in place.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on fraud and risk management activities for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar languages and platforms.
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present findings effectively.
• Knowledge of fraud prevention, risk management, and compliance practices within the cryptocurrency or financial industry is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
