It is a unique opportunity to contribute to the field and contribute to the blockchain community. You will work hand-in-hand with various talented workers from Binance on the cutting-edge of crypto to guard safety across many projects and systems. You will also coordinate with other teams aside from the security group, which could provide you an in-depth understanding of the crypto world.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough project background checks based on client requests, utilizing OSINT knowledge and additional skillsets to identify potential risks associated with project team individuals.
- Integrate on-chain information with offchain data to investigate potential cases effectively.
- Gather intelligence on a comprehensive list of contacts in the Web3 space, both reputable and otherwise, to facilitate high-efficiency investigations.
- Collaborate with other security professionals and developers to design and implement robust security solutions.
- Monitor blockchain networks for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Prepare detailed reports on security findings and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in blockchain security and continuously improve investigation techniques.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled or holding a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Very experienced with traditional OSINT investigation and able to link with crypto information.
- Highly skilled in tracing the flow of funds across multiple blockchains, including the ability to track funds as they move through bridges.
- Basic understanding of common smart contract security vulnerabilities, current trends in security incidents, common scam techniques seen on-chain. Â
- Strong coordination and communication skills, capable of coping with stress, and quickly learning new knowledge.
- Proficiency in using blockchain analysis tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Additional beneficial skills:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of EVM and non-EVM blockchains and layer 2 solutions, and be familiar with DeFi design patterns.
- Experience with blockchain forensics and incident response.
- Analyze smart contracts and blockchain transactions to identify vulnerabilities and potential security threats.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the blockchain or cybersecurity industry.
- Proven expertise in managing and interacting with Law Enforcement procedures.A well-established network with key industry players, including but not limited to: Centralized Exchanges (CEXs), X (Twitter), Domain Registrars such as NameCheap / Squarespace, Discord, etc.
- Relevant experience in processing and handling Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to verify the authenticity of entities.
