Chainlabs is a data startup focused on de-anonymizing the blockchain. We are the largest data labels broker in the web3 space. We make web3 safer by identifying blockchain addresses linked to cybercrime activities.

Our primary clients include web3 analytics companies such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, Coinbase and Nansen, as well as law enforcement, traders, and academic researchers.

We’re doubling revenue YoY and need an operations leader who can turn process debt into a reliable delivery engine.

What you’ll own:

1. Delivery & SLAs – convert client requirements into tickets, prioritise, assign, and track to closure
2. Operating system – stand up and maintain Notion/Linear (or tool of your choice) with clear workflows, status definitions and dashboards.
3. Team Leadership (as you scale) – Over time, supervise 2–4 analysts (and potentially 10+ freelancers) supporting their development through clear guidance, 1-1s, and performance feedback.
4. Process improvement – partner with Engineering to automate data ingestion, QC scripts and reporting.
5. Client success (select accounts) – join requirement calls, communicate ETAs, and turn feedback into backlog items.
6. Crypto Risk & Intel Awareness – Stay on top of emerging crypto-crime tactics and regulatory changes to keep Chainlabs proactive and informed.

We’re looking for:

• 3+ years in operations, intelligence, or analyst roles within AML, cyber-threat, or data-driven environments.
• A proven builder – you’ve untangled messy workflows, created SOPs, and hit tough delivery goals.
• Expertise with Agile / Kanban and the metrics that matter (cycle-time, throughput, error rate).
• Fluent in Data analysis for quick data digs; comfortable briefing engineers.
• Crystal-clear written and verbal communicator; you write the playbook first, then talk.
• Ambition to lead and mentor others as the team grows — prior people management is a bonus, but not required.
• Bonus: deep knowledge of blockchain tracing, KYT or cyber-crime OSINT networks.

Success metrics (your scorecard)

• On-time delivery rate ≥ 95 % after month 4.
• QC error-rate ≤ 0.3 % for three consecutive months.
• Analyst throughput above threshold for labelled entities / FTE / week.
• SOP coverage: 100 % of categories & edge-cases documented by month 6.
• Net-promoter-score from internal engineers & analysts ≥ 8/10.
